Operational Guidance of Concrete Pump

　　Mechanical equipment, although convenient and efficient, requires more skills of operators. It’s normal to buy a knife without an instruction because everybody knows how to use it, but it’s regarded as unacceptable to purchase a concrete pump without a guidance manual. Not only should a supplier offers the manual but the buyer should follow it strictly when using the pump.

　　First, users should prepare raw material types, such as diameter of aggregates and concrete model, in strict accordance to the guidance. Second, stopping brake and locking brake of a concrete pump should be in working state at the same time. The tires must be stabilized. There should be enough water in water tank and no alien materials in the hopper. Lubricant should be fed into each parts in need. Third, screws, pipe connections and protective parts should be complete and stable. No leakage should be found in the hydraulic system. Fourth, mixture of concrete and sand must be applied to lubricate the delivery pipe before normal operation. Landing legs should be stabilized before placing boom is started in given order. Moving the body of concrete pump is prohibited when placing boom stretches fully. If there is need to move the pump, it should move at a speed within 10km/h with the upper parts of the placing boom folded steadily. Diameter of the placing boom should abide by given rules. If users want to make the boom longer by adding a new pipe, it should be fastened by an anti-drop rope. Fifth, instruments and indicator lamps must be monitored closely so that possible problems will be solved in time. Sixth, no delivery pipe or hydraulic pipe of a concrete pump should be open while the pumping system is under pressure. Seventh, after being used, the pump should be cleaned thoroughly and no concrete should be left in the hopper or the pipe. No standing within 10 meters in front of the outlet while the boom is washed by compressed air.
